Shaylee Carlson- Voice Instruction
Shaylee Carlson is a recent graduate of Northwestern College in St. Paul, MN. She was a Vocal Music Education major and currently teaches voice at Northwestern's Music Academy in Saint Paul and Acting Out Studios in Albertville Mn.
Miss Carlson was involved in the Northwestern College Opera Program, appearing several times on stage during her time there. When teaching, Carlson's primary genre of instruction is classical music, but she also enjoys singing and teaching musical theater and some popular music. Carlson firmly believes that a strong vocal foundation can be found in classical instruction.
Miss Carlson recommends students commit to ongoing voice lessons. Each private lesson lasts 30 minutes, is offered weekly and costs $18.00. Registration with Shaylee is on a monthly basis. Lessons are purchased in advance in packages of 5 sessions. Carlson will offer both evening and daytime voice lessons beginning in Jan 2011.
